Hi there, my name is Lauren, I’m a fully qualified person-centred counsellor also offering CBT. I realise that people seek counselling for a multitude of reasons. By respecting your individual nature and situation I am able to offer a non- judgemental and empathic environment which can help to enable you in sharing and exploring any problems you may be experiencing and potential ways forward.

I have worked within NHS settings previously with individuals presenting with a wide range of issues, I also have particular experience working with survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse. I offer short and long-term counselling and will tailor my approach to suit your individual needs.
I offer counselling to individuals and have worked with both men and women successfully. I offer supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors in different locations around Lincolnshire. Counselling is able to help for a wide range of issues from depression, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship issues, bereavement and pre-bereavement counselling and much more.
My aim as a Person Centred/integrative Counsellor is to offer my clients a non-judgemental and safe environment to explore their issues that may be blocking them from being who they want to be. Many issues can affect us all with todays busy lives and having a safe, confidential environment to share, explore and resolve these issues can help clients to move life forwards to a place their happy with.
I appreciate individualism in all of my clients and therefore tailor my counselling to best fit my clients needs.

What is Counselling and What can Counselling do for you ?
Person Centred Counselling is a non-directive approach; allowing you time and space to work on whatever issues you want to bring to the session to talk about and explore your feelings around. Using the core conditions, Empathy, Unconditional Positive Regard (UPR) and Congruence can enable you to achieve your basic and mental health needs.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is still a talking therapy which can help you look at what is troubling you. It focuses more directly on thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and behaviour. CBT works to help you with some coping mechanisms to help you meet your needs and we can teach coping skills for dealing with different problems.
